Premchand has more than 25 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, with extensive work in managed services across market sectors. Premchand was responsible for conceptualizing and architecting the next-generation managed services IT RUN Operations delivery framework called ServiceNXT, and he led AI Ops delivery and engineering for the application side of Wipro’s HOLMES cognitive platform.
Premchand’s delivery work has been recognized worldwide for its innovation and relevance. In 2010, his conceptualization and implementation of the BLA-based managed-services delivery model “CIGMA” won a NASSCOM innovation award. His efforts to conceptualize and implement the Software Factory Delivery Model have become a Harvard Business case study.
As Vertical Delivery Head for the Automotive & Aerospace vertical, he had global delivery responsibility for a team of more than 2,500 professionals across the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific region. He currently lives in the Detroit area.
